How to convert octal to hexadecimal

The octal number system is a base-8 number system. This means that it uses a total of 8 symbols, 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,70, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, to represent values. When the subscript 88 is appended to the end of a number, it is used to identify a number expressed in octal.

The hexadecimal number system, on the other hand, is a base-16 number system.
