How to return the bool of a single element object in pandas

Overview

The DataFrame.bool() function in pandas is used to return the Boolean value of an object with a single element.

Note: The DataFrame.bool() function cannot work on a non-Boolean single element DataFrame.

Syntax

Parameters

This function takes no parameter value.

Return value

This function returns a Boolean value in the input object.

Example

# importing the pandas library
import pandas as pd

# creating a single element DataFrame
df = pd.DataFrame({"col1": [True]})

# calling the DataFrame.bool() function 
print(df.bool())
