Overview

The Vector class in PHP is an array that is automatically resized. The elements of a Vector instance are accessible via indexes.

This shot discusses the toArray method of the Vector class.

Description

The toArray method returns an array containing elements in the same order as they are in the Vector the method is called on.

Syntax

<?php
public Ds\Vector::toArray(): array
?>

Parameters

None.

Return value

  • An array containing elements in the same order as the vector.

Exceptions

None.

Example

<?php
$vec = new \Ds\Vector([1, 2, 3]);
var_dump($vec->toArray());
?>

Output:

array(3) {
[0]=>
int(1)
[1]=>
int(2)
[2]=>
int(3)
}

In the example above, a vector $vec containing 1, 2, and 3 is converted to an array using the toArray method.
