Concurrent Data Processing in Elixir

## Process link

Processes in Elixir can be linked together, and `Task` processes are usually linked to the process that automatically started them. This link is called a **process link**. Process links have an important role when building concurrent and fault-tolerant applications. They help us immediately shut down parts of the system or even the whole system when needed. This prevents the application from running in a bad state. The following figure shows three processes linked together:
