TheMealDB and TheCocktailDB APIs are REST APIs that can be used to search recipes of food items. This course is a hands-on guide for using these APIs.

The course begins with the introduction of TheMealDB and TheCocktailDB APIs. You'll learn about the request and response structures of these APIs. Furthermore, you'll also learn about the different endpoints and how to use them. Then, we'll look at a demo application that will use these APIs to search for recipes. Lastly, we'll look at some recommendations and resources which will allow us to further explore these APIs.

Fetching Recipes with TheMealDB and TheCocktailDB APIs in Python

The base URI `https://www.thecocktaildb.com/api/json/v1/1/filter.php` provides us the names, IDs, and the link for the image of cocktails.  The information obtained from this endpoint can be used to search for the recipes for various cocktails.

We use any of the following four filters to get this information:
- Category of cocktail
- Type of glass
- Ingredients used
- Alcohol content
