Create Our First Bucket

Before getting started with some hands-on learning with S3, there are some prerequisites to follow so you can also practice at your end.

Prerequisite steps:

1. Create an AWS account.
2. Create an IAM User (we don’t want to use the root account for working on AWS).
3. Enable Multifactor Authentication for the IAM user account and the root account.
4. Create a billing alert on the AWS console.
5. Sign out and sign in using the IAM user account.

Note: All the steps mentioned are optional but highly recommended while working with AWS.
