Creating Weeks in a Path

What Are Weeks?

We like to think about Paths in terms of Weeks. It’s easier to build and understand a program week-by-week.

For instance, let’s look at the following example of an Onboarding Path created in Educative for proofreading courses.

A Path structured into weeks helps Team Members set their pace accordingly and makes it clear about what is expected from them each week.

Creating a Week

1. By default, an Onboarding Path must have at least one week.

2. You can add a new week by clicking "Add a Week" and the Week is automatically numbered.

3. The Week can be given a title by simply clicking on the Week name - this can potentially be the theme that the week will follow. The title that you add is automatically appended after "Week n".

FAQs

• Instead of Weeks, can we structure the Path in days?

  • Currently, we only support Weeks in the structure. To add further structure, you can add Tasks within a Week. Include the day in each Task’s title—for example, “Day 1: Meet the CEO.”
