The Edpresso workshop allows participants to compete against each other’s technical articles.

All submitted articles will receive a thorough copyedit and content review by the Edpresso Team.

There are two types of Edpresso Workshops

1. Private Edpresso Workshop
2. Public Edpresso Workshop

Each workshop takes 3 weeks to complete

How it works

Private Edpresso Workshops are open to any sort of organization (i.e., schools, groups, clubs, universities, etc.).

Private workshops can be scheduled at any point during the year. However, we do fill up fast, so plan ahead! Participants will write an Edpresso article (called a shot) over the course of one week. Next, they will be given specific ways to improve their shot and be asked to edit accordingly.

Note: Participants may compete alone or within a group of up to 3 people

Just like every organization has a different purpose, every private Edpresso workshop is run a little differently. The way the winners are picked can be adjusted based on your specific needs and/or goals. Some options from the past include:

• Winners are chosen based on whose shot gets the most views
• The top 10-20 shots (depending on the size of the organization) that receive the most views are judged by a panel of Educative course authors and SWEs
• Shots are judged by a panel of Educative course authors and SWEs who decide the winners

These are examples of how the workshop has run up until now, but we are always happy to adjust to your organization’s specific needs.

For the winners

The winners – however they are chosen – will receive the following:

• 1st Place: Wins a 1-year gift subscription to Educative Unlimited
• 2nd Place: Wins a 6-month gift subscription to Educative Unlimited
• 3rd Place: Wins a 3-month gift subscription to Educative Unlimited
