If you’re looking to style your front-end, this module is for you. You'll find it particularly useful if you're coming from some other area of software development, although prior experience is not required.

In this module, you will start with a short tour of CSS. You’ll get to experiment with it through examples that explain its role and behavior. From there, you will then dive deep into each technology, exploring concepts like CSS patterns to make your web pages look good.

By the end of this module, you will be able to beautify your own web applications.

1. Build a lot of small things. 

Just before you go ahead to purchase another book, course, or see another youtube tutorial, take a deep breath and pause for a moment. 


Ask this. What is the true value of knowledge?

The true value of knowledge is in its use i.e the application of knowledge. 

The first step to take isn't to greedily get on some other CSS program, but take the time to rinse and repeat what you've learned here. 

Build the projects yourself (without me teaching you), and tackle the challenges again.

You've done that? 

Then, go ahead and build a project that interests you. Say, a personal website or a portfolio. 

You may be tempted to say to yourself, *"aw, I do not know enough to build that"*. That's wrong! 

You'll be amazed what you can do when you challenge yourself to a project.

Flexbox is the emerging standard for modern CSS layouts. 

So, you want to build two-column websites such as this:
