Comparison between Sketch and Figma wireframe
Sketch and Figma are popular design tools used for creating wireframes and prototypes. Sketch has been around much longer than Figma but is only available to MacBook users. Figma, a more recent design tool, functions over the web and can be downloaded as a desktop app on both MacBook and Windows devices. Both tools are used to design wireframes.
A wireframe is a two-dimensional illustration that shows the allocation of space and available functionalities without giving too much detail to the intricacies of the design. It is usually drafted at the beginning stages of the design process.
While both Figma and Sketch can be used to construct wireframes, they have some advantages over each other. Figma is great for collaboration between designers on a team, while Sketch is great for the ease of prototyping. Figma also has a free subscription option, while Sketch offers only paid subscriptions.
