How to get Stripe API Keys

To get Stripe API keys, we must first create a Stripe account. Follow the steps below to create a Stripe account:

1. Navigate to the official Stripe register page.
2. Fill in the details required to create an account, including name and a strong password, and click the “Create account” button.
3. To obtain the Stripe API keys, verify the email address. We’ll receive an email from Stripe after we create an account. Follow the steps after confirming the email until we land on the Stripe Dashboard.
4. Log in to the Stripe account and ensure that we are in the “Test mode.”

5. In the Stripe dashboard, click the “Developers” tab next to the “Test mode”.

6. In the navigation panel, click the “API keys” option. We’ll see the “Publishable key” on the API keys page under the “Standard keys” subheading.

7. To get the “Secret key”, click the “Reveal test key” button to make the secret key visible.
