A toolbar is represented at the bottom of the screen in the iPhone operating system. iOS toolbar neither supports grouping nor customization. A toolbar arises at the top of the screen in macOS or iPadOS, and both devices have the feature to customize the toolbar and group toolbar items. A text label can be used in a toolbar containing three or fewer buttons. For example, Calendar uses the labels Today, Calendars, and Inbox. Fixed spaces are inserted between the buttons to ensure that the labels don’t run together.
