What is cyber resilience?
Cyber resilience is a concept that integrates business continuity, information system security, and organizational resilience. In short, it is responding and recovering from cyber-attacks and data breaches while operating effectively.
It includes the ability to recover and continually change the mechanism after the standard protocol fails during a crisis. Before, during, and after intrusions, cyber resilience methods give a variety of benefits as shown in the diagram below.
How does cyber resilience work?
Implementing a cyber resilience strategy should be a precaution against human error, software or hardware vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations. Therefore, cyber resilience aims to proactively protect the entire company, considering all the insecure components in the infrastructure.

Threat protection: What used to be state-of-the-art control is now the bare minimum needed to protect an organization. Beyond simple anti-spam and anti-virus software, it is essential to incorporate DNS authentication mechanisms and not to leave an email security gap.
