Your First Build

Explore how to create a working web app from a product brief using the Lovable AI tool. Learn to craft precise prompts, identify and describe specific issues, and iteratively guide AI to fix and polish your app. This lesson helps you understand testing, debugging, and publishing your first live app with effective AI collaboration.

You have a product brief. Maybe you expanded it into a full plan with an AI assistant. You have been thinking about what to build for an entire lesson without touching a single tool. Now you open one, type a description, and hit enter. A working app appears in under a minute.

It also has three things wrong with it before you even finish clicking around.

That is not a failure. That is the starting line. This lesson covers getting a working app from your brief and steering the AI through rounds of feedback until it matches what you actually had in mind.

How do you get into Lovable?

Go to lovable.dev and create a free account. No downloads, no installations, nothing to configure on your computer. The entire tool runs in your browser.

Once you are logged in, you will see a dashboard with a prompt input area front and center.

Take your brief, and if you expanded it into a detailed plan, pull from that too. Condense it into a single message that covers four ...
