This module will provide you with the necessary skills to develop intermediate-level Single Page Applications (SPA) by using Vue.js.

You will start with an introduction to Vue.js, why it is useful, and an explanation of its basic structure. After that, you will cover some crucial materials around Vue.js like directives, renderers, user input handlers, and Vue components.

Finally, you will combine all these concepts together to make a Single Page Application that interacts with a backend server, APIs, and a database.

## Who is the module for?

This module is designed for learners who are new to Vue.js. As this module offers an introduction to Vue.js, learners can safely assume that this module will help them understand and develop a Vue.js web application.


## Module structure

This module contains _seven_ chapters, namely:

1. __Commencing the Journey: Introductions and Conventions:__

    This chapter introduces us to Vue.js and the conventions we'll use in this module.

2. __Why Use JavaScript Front-end Frameworks:__
    
    This chapter goes through the basics of why front-end frameworks are useful. It also teaches us about the basics concepts of Vue.js.

3. __Vue Directives, Bindings, And Reactivity:__

    This chapter goes through Vue.js directives, class and style bindings, and much more -for instance, list rendering and reactive list rendering. 

4. __Handle User Input and Event Handlers:__

   This chapter tells us how the front-end takes user inputs and saves them. It also teaches us how to add event handlers for user interactivity. 

5. __Vue Components:__

    This chapter goes through the components in Vue.js and the concepts related to the making of components. It also teaches us about single-file components and inheritance in components. 

6. __Interaction with Backend Server (Database and API):__

    In this chapter, we'll learn how to make our front-end Vue.js application interact with the back-end API and database. 

7. __The Final App:__

   This chapter will show us the final application that we will work to build throughout this module.
