Mastering Selenium

Selenium WebDriver is a powerful web framework that allows us to execute cross-browser tests. By learning this tool, we can create robust, browser-based regression automation suites and tests, all while scaling and distributing scripts across many different environments.
 
This is a recipe module, which means we can directly go to the part that interests us. For example, if we’re testing multiple select lists and don’t know how to do it, we can look it up in the module roadmap and proceed with that lesson.

Whenever a test step does not perform correctly, its execution is terminated, marking the test as “failed.”

 However, in certain cases, the test step failure is acceptable. For instance, we want to
make sure that a test starts with no active user session. So if a user is currently signed in, we can try signing him out. But, if a user has already signed out, then performing a sign-out will fail, and this is acceptable as well.
