This module assumes that the average reader has, at the very least, a basic knowledge of web technologies such as browsers, HTML, and JavaScript. You will not need to know the difference between `var` and `let`, but rather how scripts are loaded and executed when a browser renders a web page.

This module contains _four_ main chapters:

1. __Understanding the Browser__

    This chapter covers the basics of browsers and discusses pieces of software that are used on a daily basis, which are full of surprises.

2. __Basics of Web__

   This chapter explains the structure of the Internet and how data is stored and transferred around the web. 

3. __HTTP__

   This chapter provides information on the HTTP protocol and explains the measures we should take in order to secure HTTP exchanges.

4. __The Back End__

   This chapter provides the basics of website back-end programming and architecture.
