Plagiarism policy

We'll cover the following

What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is the act of claiming ownership over content that was not originally created by the contributor. Educative prides itself on having original content, therefore we do not tolerate any plagiarism on our platform.

Our policy

All content submitted must be original and created by the submitter. Upon submission, our team will check each Answer for plagiarism using a plagiarism checker Educative uses Grammarly and Turnitin. The review team will additionally plug keywords and phrases from each Answer into Google to check for duplicate content . If any plagiarism is found, the contributor will be notified and the Answer will be removed from the Educative review process.

In order to maintain the diversity of content published on the Educative Answers platform, we do not allow contributors to copy content from any of their own previously published Answers.

We understand that English has many commonly used phrases and sentences that can cause plagiarism to show up without any intention from the contributor. This is why we give each contributor the opportunity to resubmit their shot and fix any plagiarism. If your resubmission is free from plagiarism, we will accept it to be reviewed!
