How the overall course is organized
This course on Velo by Wix spans three main chapters that cover introduction to the Wix Members Area, introduction to Velo, and how Velo enhances the development experience. You will learn how Velo can interact with the Wix Members Area along with other advanced features of Velo, including automated email triggers on certain events and managing members’ registrations.
A chapter-wise breakdown of the course content is as follows:

Chapter 1: Before We Begin
This chapter introduces you to the contents of this course, the introduction to the Wix Members area, and how the site members are managed using it.

Chapter 2: Velo: Wix’s Development Platform
This chapter will introduce you to the features of Velo. You will learn how you can integrate the power of JavaScript using Velo. You will also learn to work with the code panel and Velo syntax. The working of Velo sidebar that contains code files and database options will be demonstrated as well. This chapter will also cover the Velo API.

Chapter 3: Interacting With Members Area
This chapter covers how members’ experience with Velo can be improved. You will learn and code customized signup and profile pages with the help of Velo. This chapter will also demonstrate how to write Velo code to trigger emails on different events.
All three chapters are concluded with a quiz that will help you test your knowledge of the concepts you have learned.
Some information about the project and assessment
In addition to the chapters mentioned above, this course contains a hands-on project followed by an assessment.

Project: An Indoor Bicycle Training Community
In this project, you will start with the basic template of an online indoor bicycle training community website, to which you will add several features and implement functionalities, making the website usable for real community members. The tasks will be divided into small steps and you will be provided with hints and solutions in case you get stuck.

Assessment: Velo by Wix
The assessment will test the skills you acquired in the course and (in case of successful completion) provide you with a certificate that you can showcase as a Velo developer. The assessment will contain several different types of questions.
The course also contains a concluding chapter that summarizes the contents of the course and provides a conclusion.
