The Indoor Bicycle Club

Customize a community website for an indoor cycling club using Velo.

Introduction

This project will provide you with a hands-on experience of customizing a Wix website and membership area using Velo.

You are provided with an indoor cycling community website template that has a few pages (Home, Events, News, and Resources). The Members Area along with the member’s account management and the default profile page are all enabled.

The Dev Mode (or Velo) is not yet enabled on the website.

Tasks

You are required to enable the Dev Mode and add a few more customized features to the website using Velo. These tasks are divided into the following modules:

1. Create custom sign up and login forms.
2. Create a custom member profile page
3. Create a custom update profile page.
4. Set up triggered email upon sign up of a new member in the online community.
5. Set up an email that will be sent out to all the members of the community upon posting an event on the community’s event page.

You will develop the website progressively in each module, with the progress carried out to the next module as you proceed.
