SeatGeek is a ticketing marketplace for live events and handling sales for various venues as well as professional teams. It also acts as a secondary market for ticket holders. SeatGeek’s event database can be accessed using their powerful API.

This course will help you master the use of the SeatGeek API to fetch live events’ data from SeatGeek's comprehensive database. This course will also let you integrate SeatGeek API with a simple Django web application and meaningfully display live events’ data.

The **genres** endpoint allows us to request all the available genres for filtering performers using a genre. A genre is a category of performers that are available on SeatGeek. The genres endpoint doesn’t take any URL parameters.
