This module will cover the fundamentals of Kanban and how to improve our Scrum practice, along with the process of designing a Kanban system.

This module will introduce us to Kanban fundamentals. We will begin by studying the origins of Kanban as a method for designing and improving work knowledge. Later in the module, we will learn the core practices of Kanban for designing a Kanban system at the team level successfully. Then, we will learn how to use Kanban to improve our Scrum practice. By the end of the module, we'll be able to design a Kanban system.

## Create and populate the board
In my experience, this is probably the most enlightening step of the Kanban System Design process. It is also the longest step of all, as there is a lot of work to do, including agreements that are to be made as well as writing a lot of stickers, more policies, additional discussions.

We ask the team to draw the dashboard and write in stickers all the work currently in progress as well as all the work in Ready to Pull column by following the policies defined in the previous step.
