Fixtures: Lineups
Explore how to retrieve detailed soccer fixture lineups with API-Football in Python. Understand how to access formations, coaches, starting XI, and substitutes, and use query parameters to filter lineup data for one or both teams in a fixture.
We can use the lineups endpoint to get lineups of a fixture. Lineups are available between 20 and 40 minutes before the fixture when the competition covers this feature.
Some competitions may not have any lineups available before the fixture. This can be the case for minor competitions.
