In this lesson, we’ll explore how to verify a YouTube creator’s phone number in order to add a thumbnail to a YouTube video.
Verify the creator’s phone number
To verify the creator’s phone number, visit the YouTube web phone verification page. Then perform the following steps:
Select your country of residence from the country drop-down option and provide your phone number to receive the verification code from YouTube.
You’ll be routed to another page where you have to provide the verification code you received on your mobile device and click the “SUBMIT” button.
Finally, you’ll be routed to another page where the “Phone number verified” message will appear.
