Quiz Widget

Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are a popular and widely used assessment tool in various educational and testing contexts. You can use the ‘Quiz widget’ to evaluate the learners concepts.

With the Quiz widget, you can create the following types of questions:

  1. Multiple choice questions (MCQs)

  2. Fill in the blanks

  3. True/False

This is what it looks like:

You can add the quiz’s topic in the “Quiz Title” section. It is optional.

What do I need to know?

  • You can write the question under the “Question Statement” section.

  • You can add an answer choice to the question by pressing the “Add option” button.

  • You can add a new question by pressing the “+” button next to the Q1 tab.

  • You can mark one correct answer by clicking the checkbox on the left side of the option.

    • A question can have more than one correct answer. Click the ‘Multiple Correct Answers’ checkbox to set multiple correct answers.

  • You can rearrange the order of options by drag and drop facility.

See the image below as a reference.

The above sample question has two options, “A” and “B”, where A is the correct answer.

Not exceeding more than D options is a good practice.

What if learners expect an explanation

Sometimes, learners need to know why a specific option is correct/incorrect. Notice the “Explanation” section below every option. Here, you can explain the reason if required.

Can I ask questions randomly?

Notice a text field titled “Dynamic Questions”. It allows you to specify the number of questions randomly presented to the learner out of the total questions you have created. For example, if there are five questions and you write 4 in this field, only four questions will be asked every time by skipping one question randomly.
