Final Words

Congratulations on finishing the course! If you’ve reached this point, we hope that you’ve developed a better appreciation of R, statistical inference, and substantive empirical research in general. Hopefully, our emphasis on a minimalist approach toward R, our focus on a research process- or project-oriented approach toward data analysis, and our demonstration of how to replicate published research have all made the experience of learning R, statistical analysis, and empirical research less overwhelming yet more productive and rewarding than alternative approaches.
