Descriptive statistics

Once the dataset is ready, the first thing we should do is to examine the descriptive statistics of the variables and graph the key scatter plot so that we may spot unusual data patterns, including possible coding errors. We can apply the stargazer package and report the descriptive statistics in the table below:
