Usually, if we have a model in our application, we will also have a form associated with it. The form would be responsible for creating new instances of the model. Instead of creating a separate form and adding each field again, Django has provided us with a simplified method using the model forms.
In this lesson, we will discuss setting up a Django model form, which is actually really easy to do. We have already discussed how to set up a model, so we won’t be discussing that in this lesson, but we will use an example that already has a model in it.
