The ecosystem of Big Data is still fledgling. New technologies and techniques are introduced frequently. A lot of room for simplification and innovation remains open. This course offered a practical and hands-on exposure to Big Data technologies. It can be hard to wrap your head around Big Data technologies without interacting with the components. HDFS, YARN, and more make up the Big Data stack, which is why you should undertake the exercises. Most Big Data technologies have equivalents in the cloud, but the fundamental technology remains the same.
