Elastic File System (EFS)

Get introduced to AWS Elastic File System (EFS) and its use cases and architecture.

What is Elastic File System (EFS)?

It is a file storage service for elastic compute cloud (EC2) instances. The EFS strong capacity is elastic, growing and shrinking automatically. EFS supports NFSv4 and you only pay what you use.

This enables a shared, networked file system, which is replicated between multiple availability zones. This makes EFS a good candidate for running MQ in a highly available way.

Use EFS for queuing system

The below architecture diagram would give you an understanding of how EFS can be used for a queuing system.
