Introduction

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 increased substantially increased the use of electronic signatures. Nowadays, wet-ink signatures seem to be outdated.

Working from home-raised unprecedented issues for most companies that needed to sign documents in order to maintain the continuity of business operations. In response, we have seen an elevated interest in the use of electronic signatures.

Difference between electronic and digital signatures

The differences between these two techniques are described below:

• A digital signatures is more secure and certifies that someone with a private signing key has seen the document and approved it. It’s very safe but at the same time, more complicated.
