Creating a Website in WordPress

Note: Setting up a WordPress application on Educative does not require any configuration. This lesson is is designed to assist you in creating a website on your local machine. If you're not looking to set up a version on your own device, you can skip ahead to the next lesson.
Creating a WordPress website in Local is very intuitive.
Step 1: Create new site
To create a website with Local, simply click the "+ Create a new site" button.
Step 2: Choose a name
Our website needs a name. We will call our practice website School of Excellence. You are free to choose any name you want. Additionally, there are advanced options available for exploration. However, for the time being, we will maintain the current settings and proceed by clicking the "Continue" button.
