Creating Connects in a Path
What Are Connects?
Connects are meetings that you want your Team Members to have with different coworkers in their new company. The purpose of Connects is to help Team Members break the ice and learn more about their new colleagues.
A Connect consists of:
The individual's name
The individual's email address
The individual's designation
Connects, by default, are optional in nature. This means that completing Connects does not count towards the completion of a Team Member’s Path. However, the Manager and the Mentor can always track the progress of these Connects and encourage their Team Members to complete them.
Connects are also presented week-by-week. This means that a Connect can be completed at any point in time during a certain Week. The reason for this flexibility is that the availability of personnel can be tricky, so designating a certain day for a Connect would be too rigid for all practical purposes.
Adding Connects in a Path
Follow these steps to create a Connect:
In the Path Editor, click on "Add a Connect".
Click on "New Connect" to search the individual by name or email address.
Provide the Connect's designation (optional).

Will the point of contact be notified that this meeting is upcoming?
- No. Connects are Team Member-initiated. The onus is on the Team Member to reach out to the person of contact and set up a time with them during the week.

Is there a calendar integration?
- Currently, we do not provide integration with calendars.

Can the point of contact be changed at a later point in time?

Yes. There are two stages at which the point of contact can be changed.

First, at the time of assignment of a Path, the Manager will have an option to review and change Connects.

Second, when the Team Member is on a Path and they have not yet met certain people, the Manager or Mentor can change the point of contact in the Team Member’s Connects.
