Hyperledger Greenhouse is an open-source consortium for developing business blockchain technologies that is hosted by the Linux Foundation. Within the greenhouse, diverse global communities collaboratively develop open-source projects that uniquely approach enterprise blockchain challenges. These technologies can cross-pollinate and inter-operate just like how the communities driving the projects collaborate in an open and neutral environment.

Hyperledger Iroha

Hyperledger Iroha is a permissioned blockchainAn additional blockchain security system framework designed for efficient management of digital assets that helps make a business trustworthy. Querying and performing commands is limited to the participants who have access to the Iroha network. A robust permissions system ensures that all transactions are secure and controlled.

Main features

  1. Easily create and manage simple, as well as complex, digital assets (e.g., cryptocurrency or personal medical data).

  2. Integrate blockchain into a business process using built-in smart-contracts called commands.

  3. Perform common functions using commands. This means lower complexity, risk, and fewer errors.

  4. Developers don’t have to write complicated smart-contracts because they are available in the form of commands.

  5. Using Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) makes it suitable for businesses that require verifiable data consistency at a low cost.

  6. In-depth knowledge about blockchain isn’t required for interactions. This makes it similar to a client-server interaction.
