In this chapter we learned how to:

• Build an executable JAR file.

• Create a layer-based Dockerfile and bake a container.

• Use Paketo Buildpacks and baked a container with no Dockerfile.

• Add Spring Boot Actuator.

• Expose only the necessary management services.

• Customize application info with build information.

• Write some glue code to store and retrieve HTTP trace data in MongoDB.
