Hello, I'm Mike Callaghan. I am an LDS husband, father, and Software Engineer for Disney Parks, Experience, and Products Technology. I also create video courses about web development, mostly revolving around the Ionic Framework.
ABOUT ME
I began learning to program computers way back in 1981 in High School. The Data Processing teacher took pity on a young 9th grader and let me borrow time on the county's HP 2000 to teach myself BASIC. That experience grew into a passion for software development that has never waned. Though my early career took a ten-year detour, I finally began writing software professionally in 1995. I've been doing that ever since. I discovered the Ionic Framework from before it was even version 1. Over the past few years, I have authored multiple popular video courses on Ionic, some of which you will find on this site. I invite you to join me in learning more about this exciting technology, which will enable anyone with modest web development skills to build real-world mobile applications, which they can then release on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
