Chitta is pioneer and a world-renowned AI/ML author and leader. In the past 15+ years, he has built multiple successful AI/ML companies and, currently, leading an advanced ML team at Amazon. He is also an AI educator and a top-read writer.
ABOUT ME
I graduated from IIT Kharagpur after which I took on PhD in Statistics from Georgia Tech when the field of Machine Learning was still shaping. My contributions in the field include some transformational work in sequence mining, convolutional neural networks, and regularization. My research publications have won several best paper awards. Ultimately I published the book--Understanding Deep Learning--that opened some of the least understood constructs in deep learning and made its application accessible to all. Along side, I successfully built AI/ML startups and now leading advanced ML teams at Amazon.
