ABOUT ME
Ammar Mohanna is an accomplished professional in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software Engineering. He completed a Ph.D. in Edge Artificial Intelligence at the University of Genoa, Italy, from 2019 to 2022. Prior to his doctoral studies, Ammar earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering from USJ - ESIB, Lebanon, spanning from 2014 to 2019. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, with intermediate proficiency in Italian, Ammar's linguistic versatility aligns with his global academic background. In his professional journey, Ammar currently holds the position of AI Lead at Assentify, where he has been actively contributing to the development of InsurTech services using AI since September 2022. Prior to this role, he served as an R&D AI Engineer at MYWAI SRL from August 2019 to August 2022. In this capacity, Ammar collaborated with client Subject-Matter Experts, identified AI solutions, and provided support in writing optimized code for various projects.
