A software engineer with wide experience and a keen interest in everything with a word "algorithm" in it.
I wrote my first program over 20 years ago. It was an arcade game written for a soviet computer with a BASIC interpreter and no persistent memory in it. Over the years I've been practicing the software engineering craft and constantly learning with special interests in competitive programming, web application architecture, functional programming, and discrete optimization. I do code for a living for more than ten years. During this time I've worked on all kinds of web applications starting with tiny projects and WordPress websites and ending with monoliths in the middle of decoupling and distributed systems with numbers of maintainers from 1 to over 150. When not coding, I might be crafting things, writing into the blog, reading five books in parrallel, or speaking at one of the Berlin meetups.
