ABOUT ME
I'm an electrical engineer by degree but I have been programming for many years now. I mostly work with Python, but I know to various degrees about all these technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, C++, PostgreSQL, Django, and more. I'm also the author of Django Takeoff: Developing Modern Applications which is a book that I put together to help beginners learn Django web development. The book strings together many of concepts to get you building a real website right away while learning these concepts. It’s aimed at beginners, however, towards the end of the book there are chapters regarding how to use Amazon Web Services (AWS), specifically, AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) for the database and AWS S3 Buckets which allows to host static files such as code and images for any website. The final chapter deals with deploying the web app on Heroku. I have created various websites from beginning to end which used usually two or more of the technologies before mentioned.
