Art - Science - Computing - Teaching - Community

ABOUT ME

I'm a reformer. I enjoy the challenge of fixing how we do stuff - like security, digital services, commercial design, and technology. And I love advocating new ways of working, to huge audiences wherever possible! I love open source, and I love being active in the open community. I led the London Python meetup community, doubling membership to over 4000 members. Teaching people to do things they couldn't is really satisfying. I founded the Algorithmic Art meetup, growing it to over 1600 members in less than 12 months, meeting every month, reaching non-technical communities too. I'm formally qualified as a data scientist, enjoy speaking and teaching machine learning and AI, and have an Amazon #1 best seller on neural networks. I'm currently a part-time lecturer in creative computing and code at Surrey University, and about to publish a book on algorithmic art. I also love tango, flamenco, photography, science, martial arts ...
