Michael Snoyman works as Vice President of Engineering, where he has managed and worked on a wide range of software projects, including distributed systems, medical devices, web applications and actuarial analysis tooling. He is a prolific author of open source projects and founded many of the foundational libraries and tools powering Haskell software. Michael is passionate about education and regularly gives training courses on Rust and Haskell, as well as the author of books and numerous blog posts on both languages. Michael is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Actuarial Sciences. He raises his four kids with his wife Miriam.
