ABOUT ME
I have spent 30 years in the IT field, most of which has been in technology leadership positions for organizations ranging from global Fortune 500 conglomerates to small start-ups. Working across a variety of industries, I've served as Enterprise Architect, SAP Technical Director, Software Development Manager, Agile Coach, Innovation Program Manager, Technical Instructor, and Developer Relations, wearing multiple "hats" from highly technical to purely strategic. For the past five years, I have been focused on technology instruction, primarily in the Cloud Computing, IT Strategy and Machine Learning space. I currently maintain my AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional and AWS Certified Machine Learning certifications, as well as a PMP and PMI-ACP from the Project Management Institute. I earned his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and also hold an MBA from The Citadel. Presently, I'm pursuing a Doctorate of Technology from Purdue University, specializing in the commercial business use of AI and the ethics and societal implications.
