I'm a passionate software developer with more than 14 years of professional experience. I share coding stories at my blog (cppstories.com), I write mostly about C++. In my spare time, I love assembling Lego with my son :) I live in Cracow/Poland.
ABOUT ME
I'm a C++ software developer with more than 14 years of professional experience, I'm Microsoft MVP and C++ ISO Member. In 2010 I graduated from Jagiellonian University in Cracow with a Masters's Degree in Computer Science. I work at Xara, where I develop features for advanced document editors. I have also experience with desktop graphics applications, game development, large-scale systems for aviation, writing graphics drivers, and even biofeedback. In the past, I also taught programming (mostly game and graphics programming courses) at local universities in Cracow. Since 2011 I've been regularly blogging at bfilipek.com. In the early days, the topic revolved around graphics programming, and now I focus on Core C++. I'm also a co-organizer of the C++ User Group in Cracow.
