I am a Principal Data Scientist in the health services industry. In the last 6 years, I have developed various statistical, machine learning, time series, and data mining solutions. My programming experience includes R, Python, SQL, and AWS.
ABOUT ME
In the health services industry, the need for predictive analytics is high. For example, in 2019 I developed a health insurance customer churn model using machine learning that helped increase retention by 13%. In 2016, I developed a time series model for predicting health insurance ratings, resulting in $30M in annual revenue. In 2022, I developed proprietary software that uses machine learning to predict a variety of patient outcomes related to substance use disorder. As an Educative author, my aim is to teach the essential skills I have acquired in the last 6 years including applied predictive modeling, machine learning, and R programming.
