How Educative referrals work
Thanks for helping to grow the Educative community! We hope that you’re just as excited about having your friends and family join as we are about having them.
Below we’ve laid a out a few brief points of guidance around the referral program. In addition, this program is subject to the Educative Terms of Service.
How does the program work?
Any existing Educative user, whose account is in good standing, can share their unique referral link with a new Educative user. When the new user (referee) uses that referral link to create an account and makes their first purchase, the referrer will earn an Amazon Gift Card Credit worth 10% of the referee’s first purchase.
Please note:
- Referrers can earn a reward from each referee only once.
- The referral program is only valid in regions where Amazon Gift Cards are supported.
How do I find my Referral Link?
You can find your unique Referral Link by visiting educative.io/refer-a-friend while logged in to your account, or by clicking the “Refer a friend” button on the left toolbar while logged in, if available.
How do I check my referral rewards?
You can view your referral activity and track accumulated rewards by visiting educative.io/refer-a-friend while logged in. The dashboard will show your accumulated credit, past claimed reward status, and any pending rewards not yet eligible for claiming.
How do I claim my Amazon Gift Card?
Once your accumulated referral rewards reach a minimum of $50, you’ll be able to claim your balance. After claiming, your Amazon Gift Card will be sent within 40 days to the email address associated with your Educative account.
Will my rewards expire?
Your earned referral rewards do not expire. You can claim them anytime after reaching the $50 threshold.
What kind of actions aren’t permitted?
We want you to share your Referral Link and earn Educative Credit, but this must be done only for personal purposes, and not for commercial purposes. This means that you can share your Referral Link only with people you know.
By accessing your Referral Link, you agree that you will not:
- Duplicate, sell, or transfer your Referral Link in any manner or make it available to the general public through any avenue, including but not limited to forums such as Reddit and Hacker News, or using paid social media or paid search.
- Use, display, or manipulate Educative intellectual property (such as logos, trademarks, and copyright-protected works) in any way, except to identify yourself as an Educative user or referrer.
- Use automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute, post, or otherwise share your Referral Link.
- Make misleading claims about Educative, use offensive/abusive content, create fake websites/webpages/social media profiles/apps, misrepresent your connection to Educative, or otherwise make any false or misleading statements to get a referee to use your Referral Link.
- Use your Referral Link in any manner that violates the law or the rights of anyone else.
In addition, this program is subject to the Educative Terms of Service.
Termination
Educative reserves the right to prevent you from participating in any referral program (now or in the future) at any time for suspected fraud or abuse. These could also result in the forfeiture or retraction of Educative Credit or other rewards earned through the program and even the deactivation of your account.
