Network Load Balancer (NLB)

Get introduced to the Network Load Balancer.

Overview

Network Load Balancer (NLB) operates at the connection level (Layer 4), routing connections to targets (Amazon EC2 instances, containers, and IP addresses) based on IP protocol data.

It is architected to handle millions of requests/second, sudden volatile traffic patterns, and provides extremely low latencies. It can load balance any application hosted in AWS or on-premises using IP addresses of the application backends as targets.
