Why this course
  • Ship AI Workflows That Fail SafelyBuild automation that validates every LLM output, retries within a budget, and routes to a human instead of acting on bad data.
  • Build Real Integrations, Not DemosCall LLM APIs directly, wire them into n8n workflows with webhook and polling triggers, and port the same design to Zapier and Make.
  • Engineer Safe, Tool-Using AgentsBound agent loops with allowlisted tools, step and cost limits, audited logs, and approval gates before any external side effect.
  • Operate with EvidenceDebug failures from run history, measure quality with test sets and rubrics, and keep sensitive data out of logs by default.

What You'll Learn

  • Design AI workflow specifications with JSON output contracts, acceptance criteria, and prompt specifications that produce routable, machine-checkable results.
  • Integrate LLMs through direct HTTP API calls, handling API keys safely, tuning runtime settings such as temperature and token limits, and mapping errors like 401, 429, and 5xx to the right next action.
  • Build automation workflows in n8n with triggers, normalization, branching, validation gates, retry-with-backoff, fallback paths, and compact run logging, and map them across Zapier and Make.
  • Implement agent-like workflows with tool calling, allowlisted tools, and return contracts, step and budget limits, stop reasons, and human approval gates for irreversible actions.
  • Ground workflow answers in real policy using retrieval-augmented generation, including chunking, embeddings, metadata filters, citation-and-refusal prompts, and retrieval evaluation.
  • Operate workflows responsibly with test sets, evaluation rubrics, run-level instrumentation, PII minimization and redaction, and defenses against prompt injection.

About this course
WHY I WROTE THIS COURSE
Generating one acceptable response from a large language model is relatively straightforward. Building a system that behaves reliably across repeated runs, including under malformed, ambiguous, or adversarial inputs, requires a different set of engineering practices. AI workflow engineering focuses on turning LLM calls into reliable, testable automation. This course focuses on those practices. I built this course based on my work in adaptive AI and intelligent computing and from seeing the same pattern across GenAI systems: teams get a workflow working once, then discover it lacks validation gates, retry logic, and explicit failure handling. A production workflow needs to handle failure safely, not just succeed under ideal conditions. That means designing controls such as structured outputs, validation, retries, tool handling, retrieval, and human oversight into the workflow from the start rather than adding them reactively after a production failure. This course teaches that discipline through one running example designed around production constraints: a support inbox workflow that triages incoming messages. You'll write prompt specifications and JSON contracts, call the Gemini API directly over HTTP, and build the workflow in n8n with branching, validation, retries with backoff, and execution logging, then apply the same workflow pattern in Zapier and Make. You'll extend it into a bounded agent with tool allowlists, step limits, and human approval gates, ground its responses in approved policy documents with retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluate and operate it using test sets, evaluation rubrics, instrumentation, and safeguards against privacy leaks and prompt injection. By the end, you'll be able to design, build, and operate AI workflows that behave predictably under defined conditions and hand one to a colleague with clear failure handling and safeguards in place.

These are high-quality courses. Trust me the price is worth it for the content quality. Educative came at the right time in my career. I'm understanding topics better than with any book or online video tutorial I've done. Truly made for developers. Thanks
