I created Grokking the API Design Interview Crash Course after seeing a gap in how engineers prepare for modern API and product architecture interviews. Traditional system design preparation often focuses heavily on backend scalability, but many candidates struggle when they need to reason from the client or user perspective, including how real users interact with products, how API contracts support those interactions, and how those interactions translate into clear, reliable product flows. From working on product-facing systems, I’ve seen that strong candidates understand the full lifecycle of a request.
