The history of agile
In the spring of 2000 on a retreat in Snowbird, Utah, a group of 17 software developers met to brainstorm ways to make development better. They saw an opportunity that would be a win for both users and developers. If they could find a way to shorten the time it takes to get software in front of users, the feedback they could get would help them make that software all the better. A year later the group met again, this time expanding their ideas into what is now known as the Agile Manifesto.
